*Note on Licenses

Microsoft® SQL Server may require additional licenses. For more information, contact Microsoft at www.microsoft.com. Oracle may require additional licenses. For more information, contact them at www.oracle.com.

**Note on Microsoft XP

As Microsoft XP is not designed to be used as a server, we do not recommend it as a platform for the FootPrints server. Microsoft XP is supported as a client platform for connecting to FootPrints for all user (via the browser), however.

**Note on SQL Express

Customers who require more than three gigabytes of data space should not use SQL Express, and should use SQL Server instead. SQL Express 2005 requires Windows Installer 3.1 or later, MDAC 2.8 SP1 or later, and .Net Framework 2.0 or later.

***Note on Java

Sun Java is shipped with most versions of FootPrints. Java includes code from RSA and IBM:

   a. "This product includes code licensed from RSA Security, Inc.",

   b. "Some portions licensed from IBM are available at http://oss.software.ibm.com/icu4j/".

The Configuration Management Visualization feature requires JRE 1.4 or higher.
