Upgrades

FootPrints upgrades can usually be performed in minutes without data conversion or consulting. Your data, settings, and customizations made through the web interface are not affected.  We do recommend you backup your system before upgrading as a precaution.

Upgrades are available to download for all maintenance customers at no additional cost.

Some special circumstances:

• If you made custom changes directly to the Perl code, these changes must be backed up and then re-integrated manually (or via a source code control program). Numara Software is not responsible for custom changes made directly to the Perl code.
• If you need to move your server at the same time, please contact Numara Software Support for instructions.
• FootPrints 6.6 to FootPrints 7.0 upgrades include an optional database upgrade to increase performance for large databases.
