Saved Reports
Custom report templates can be saved and run at any time.
Each time a saved report is run, it returns the latest data from the current
Project. Reports
can be saved for personal use and for other Project members. Access
to saved reports is defined by a user's .
Instructions on creating and saving report templates
can be found in Custom Reports.
Run a Previously Saved Report
- Select Reports
| Saved from the FootPrints Toolbar.
- To run:
- a personal
report, choose the report you want to run under Personal
Reports.
- a shared
report, choose the report you want to run under Shared
Reports.
- Select Run(this is the default).
- Click
GO. The report results are displayed in
a separate browser window. If the report template is of Export
style, the Save
As Windows dialog is displayed instead.
Edit a Previously Saved Report
- Select Reports
| Saved from the FootPrints Toolbar.
- Select the report
to edit under Personal
Reportsor Shared
Reports.
- Select Editabove the corresponding drop-down.
- Click
GO. The
Custom
Report page is displayed, pre-filled with the report criteria and
formatting options.
- Make
your changes.
- To save the edited
report with the same name as the original, leave the name in the Save
this Report As text box as-is. To save it as a new report,
enter a different name.
- When you are finished,
click
GO. The report results are displayed
in a separate browser window. If the report template is of Export
style, the Save
As Windows dialog is displayed instead.
Delete a Previously Saved Report
- Click Savedunder the Reportsheading on the FootPrints Toolbar.
- Select
the report to delete under Personal
Reportsor Shared
Reports.
- Select Delete
above the corresponding drop-down.
- Click
GO. The
saved report template is deleted.
- Deleting a Shared
Report deletes the report for all users.
Shared reports are available to run, edit, and delete based
on a user's role. If
your role does not allowed access, some of the options described above
may not be displayed or otherwise available to you. Please
consult your FootPrints administrator
