LANDesk Asset Manager

FootPrints Integration with LANDesk Asset Manager enables you to view asset data from within FootPrints and populate portions of an Issue with asset information from LANDesk Asset Manager.  FootPrints Integration with LANDesk Asset Manager allows you to:

• Track both computer and non-computer assets, including contracts, maintenance agreements, telephones, office equipment and more.
• Access all stored asset data from a single asset repository.
• Automatically discover computers on the network and create detailed inventories of installed hardware and software.
• Monitor and report on software license usage.
• Control access to asset data based on the user’s role in your organization.

Note

FootPrints Integration with LANDesk requires the FootPrints Dynamic SQL Database Link add-on module.  The integration also requires the creation of a view that combines detailed software and hardware information into a single table in the LANDesk SQL Server Database.  Integration with LANDesk is Windows-only.

The FootPrints integration allows you to take advantage of all of your LANDesk Asset Manager and FootPrints at the same time.
